like a prayer.
Sometimes we meant it.
Sometimes it was marketing.
Sometimes it was hope.
Sometimes it was a way to keep everyone inside the room long enough for someone else to leave first.
Markets changed. Narratives changed. Chains changed.
The people didn’t change nearly as much.
DARKTIMES is not about one project, one community, one platform or one market cycle.
It is about behavior.
Greed. Attention. Status. Trust.
Extraction. Opportunity. Belief.
And what remains when the noise stops.

Some are building. Some are collecting.
Some are trading. Some are extracting.
Some are waiting for you to become their liquidity.
That doesn’t make the space worthless. It makes understanding the people inside it more important.
ARTIST
It started with the art.
I entered the space because digital ownership finally made digital art feel tangible. Not because of charts. Not because of floor prices.
Because art could exist natively online and still have provenance, history and collectors.
COLLECTOR
Value is more than price.
Some pieces stay with you when the market forgets them. Some expensive pieces become meaningless.
Some cheap pieces become part of your story.
TRADER
Attention has a price.
Timing matters. Narratives move faster than fundamentals.
Conviction can make you money.
Conviction can also make you someone’s exit.
The market is not dark.
The technology is not dark.
People are
complicated.
Markets simply give human nature a scoreboard.
DARKTIMES is a record of that scoreboard.
